One of my goals this year is to read more. They say it's good for you. I'm guessing 'they' is a really smart guy that reads a lot.

So, anyway, I must admit that my eyes are getting to the point where I can't see things as clearly as I used to-interpreted: I'm going blind! So recently I broke down (not emotionally, of course) and decided to get some reading glasses. There's a misnomer for ya...reading glasses indeed! I put them on, and they didn't read a thing. As it turns out, the reading still needs to be done by ME...what a ripoff.

But do they help? Every year my eye dr. says, "Next year, you'll need bifocals." I think I need them now, but he keeps putting it off. Will bifocals make me see two of everything?

You know what's bad? I didn't even NOTICE that you wrote each word twice...until the last three. Now what does that say about MY eyes?!

I was doing the reading glasses for awhile (they didn't read for me either, by the way) but then the eye doc prescribed different Rx contacts - one in the left eye for far away, one in the right for seeing up close - so they balance each other out. Wala - it works!

P.S. I always wondered about 'they'. What a know-it-all!
