The July Entry

Since I haven't blogged in a while, the least I could do was change my template to make it appear as though I check in now and then. Tell me what you think. Should I keep this template or trash it? (is that the equivalent to "do these jeans make my butt look too big?") And while you're at it why not give me some ideas on what to write about.

Well, it was kind of a pain in the ass to leave a comment - it got wierd on me.

I think I like the other layout better. It was more you.

Here's something to write about...your heroes. Jesus is a given. Other than that, who are your heroes and why?

Hey John,

Good to see you back on-blog. My suggestion: write about what you know best. I'll leave that to you...but it will have something to do with friendship, grace, humor, masculinity and the list goes on.

Glad to be e-touch with your mind again.

Mark

Since this is my first time here, I can't comment on your change of template! But if you're stumped on what to write, think back to a favorite childhood memory. Get out some old photographs and write about a person or moment that has touched your life.

Go back; go back. This one looks like salt water taffy at Knotts Berry Farm. gooey. Go back; go back.

Hey, right about the left turns you've made in your life. Everyone talks about the wrong turns, dead ends, cul-de-sacs and right of ways (or are they curds - from Turkey) but few people look at stuff "diagonally": there's a heck of alot more that doesn't fall into black or white. It belongs in the world of making great choices versus making good ones; falling into something versus walking there with intention; you know, that sort of stuff. If you want me to do one of those 'what ifs', I could spin a tale or two about that on one of my blogs.

PS: Hey Mark, where you at man?
